Housing for All - a New Housing Plan for Ireland Housing for All - is the government’s housing policy and plan to 2030. It is a multi-annual, multi-billion euro plan which is improving Ireland’s housing system to deliver more homes of all types for people with different housing needs. It has a built-in annual review mechanism to respond to progress made in implementing the plan, to challenges in implementation, and to changes in the external environment.
Housing for All - Quarterly Progress Reports are published, setting out performance against the targets and actions set out in the plan.
Housing for All is focused on increasing the supply of homes for those looking to rent or buy. Key trends in housing supply such as number of houses completed, number of planning permissions granted and number of houses commenced help to indicate to future levels of housing supply.
Whether you’re looking to rent or buy, a number of supports are now available to increase housing access and affordability. Different initiatives help in different ways.
